If you’ve been a regular follower of my blog for a while you probably thought that I’d dropped off the face of the earth! Not quite, just little Munchkin has been taking up a lot of my time and I haven’t been able to set aside many hours for creativity lately. I’m wondering whether I should change this to an art/mummy blog?! Then I may have more to write about! What do you think?
Anyway, I have had a few little projects bubbling along over the past month. One of them is some artwork for our lounge. It’s funny, but we don’t actually have much of my artwork in our house. I always seem to be doing pieces for other people but forget about our own house. We bought a couple of frames a while ago, with the intention that I would create something to fill them. I decided to make something very quick as I knew that otherwise I’d probably start an ambitious project and not finish it.
Here’s the result, a colourful selection of translucent overlapping circles! We’re so pleased with it that I’m thinking of doing a similar one for our bedroom.
Certainly brightens up an otherwise very plain wall in our lounge!
I forgot to take a photo before I framed it so there’s a bit of glare from the glass, but here’s a close up.
