This is going to be a super-speedy post today. We’ve been celebrating my Mum’s birthday in Cheltenham today with my sister and the weekend has flown by!
52 Faces
I’ve just squeezed in an hour for this miniature pencil drawing of Tyrion Lannister from the Game of Thrones. I made the mistake of drawing his face slightly too large for the circle, but decided to stick with it because I’m too tired to start again!
Hope you’ve all had lovely weekends, I’ll leave you with a few photos of mine!
Over and out π
Iβm sharing this post on the following blogs:Β The Queen of Creativity, Handmade HarbourΒ andΒ Blue Chair Diary Illustrations!

I just had to google who Tyrion Lannister is. I am so out of touch. Especially as my son has been trying to persuade me that I should watch Game of Thrones.
Great rendering of Tyrion, just in time for Game of Thrones. thanks for linking your post.
That is so good, looks just like him. Game of Thrones starts this week as well
THE *Best* character on the Show!!
π
What a great rendering of him! Definitely captures his character. I hope you have a wonderful celebration!
I love this face! So much character within this miniature size … it’s incredible! I love your photos too! They show such a lovely spring day!
I have to admit Clare, I have no idea who Tyrion is but it’s a great drawing. It put me in mind of Mark Hamill from Star Wars π
Great likeness of Tyrion.
That’s spooky, I’ve just stayed up WAY too late watching Game of Thrones and just before I switch of the pc and go to bed I had a quick look here and seen your fantastic little drawing. He looks so innocent but I’ve just seen him strangle a woman with her necklace then shoot his dad on the loo with a crossbow not 5 minutes ago!
Love the birthday writing on the plate, what a fun idea!
Lovely drawing, and a prefect drawing for the season opener of Game of Thrones last night.
A fabulous picture, very accurate too.
Your work, Clare, continues to amaze me! LOVE it! And I just love our photos – especially the daffodils! π
xx
Lovely drawing, as always:)
Hi Claire, I’ve just caught up on all the Poldarks I had recorded and had a thought. Ross Poldark mini portrait? I’d be happy to see it……
Hi Julie! I did one of Ross the week before last (great minds think alike!). It’s at the end of this blog post if you’d like to see! Can’t help thinking I should have got his torso in there somewhere though…
